The VA Heartland Network is one of twenty-two Veterans Integrated Service Networks (VISN) located throughout the United States. The VA Heartland Network also known as VISN 15, provides health care services to veterans in Kansas and Missouri, as well as parts of Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky and Arkansas.
VA Heartland Network is one of the only VA networks in the country to be endorsed by the National Committee for Quality Assurance.
The 2006 edition of the VA Heartland Network (VISN 15) Strategic Plan presents a concise blueprint for future direction. It is designed for you, our stakeholders – the many employees, volunteer staff, veterans’ organizations, affiliates, government leaders, and other partners who are actively involved in the health care of the one million veterans in the Network. The VA Heartland Network includes seven VA medical centers on nine campuses and 42 community based outpatient clinics (CBOCs) in six states (Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, Arkansas, Kentucky and Indiana).
